Ramadan

Just less than two weeks to go and the Islamic month of Ramadan will begin with all its blessings and festivities! We're excited about it and hoping to keep up with the routine (InshAllah)

For those of you unaware of this month..Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calender. Muslims refrain from eating and drinking during daylight hours...but it is not just about starving yourself; it is intended to teach us about patience, thankfulness, humility and submissiveness to God.

In the honor of this month I have decided to cut back on my crafty projects a little and spend more time in prayers and stay more focused on being a practicing muslim. BUT..there are still a few days to go and during this time I'll be busy finishing some of the projects I had on mind. :)
