Muffin case Topiary

Late night boredom leads to either making cupcakes for yourself or to make something out of cupcake cases! With no special materials needed this little project adds a contemporary accent in the room.


All you need:

• Newspaper
• Cupcake cases
• Fabric pins
• A bamboo stick or anything similar that you have at hand
• Base holder

Layer up 3 paper cases and fold them into half. Fold the half on itself once more

 You'll have a scrunched up shape.Insert a fabric pin in the centre and insert it into a ball of newspaper like in the image above. Repeat till the whole thing is covered. Poke a bamboo stick inside the ball to make the stem.

 I used an old sugar dispenser and white beans for the base.
